The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and gave me the insight I needed to decide whether or not investment banking is the career I wanted to pursue.
Highly valued, it is very prestigious to be one of the summer interns.
Any issues I had there was always a manager around to help and we had regular feedback meetings.
Very busy, but it meant that I felt I was making a tangible impact.
A large amount.
The skills I gained will definitely assist in my degree studies.
The Company
It was a working environment however it was also a lot of fun.
The HR team were fantastic and we knew exactly where we needed to be, what they expected of us and what events we had to look forward to throughout the internship.
RBS invest fully in all of their interns.
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing, lots of change is happening throughout the organisation which means there are lots of opportunities.
The Culture
Very good social scene for young people.
Manchester was perfectly reasonable.
The spinning field area is fantastic for nightlife.
Not that I was aware of, although RBS's CSR initiatives were good fun and important to the organisation.
