The Role
The work wasn't difficult; rather repetitive as a whole.
Nothing special - decent, but not friends and certainly not family!
Personally had a great Line Manager but heard of cases where intern was completely lost in work.
Wasn't really given much to do...
Mainly had to overlook the development of a project, so was given quite a lot of responsibility as an intern.
Mainly problem-solving skills, and an experience working as an Engineer
The Company
Generally boring
Major props to the HR department - entire internship was thoroughly planned out.
Sat in 2 training courses, wasn't really helpful though.
Lots of interns return to RR as a graduate, so it is rather appealing.
The Culture
Wasn't really anyone to talk to... was working alone most of the time.
Derby was a nice and cheap city - never had many opportunities to socialise though.
Derby was a boring city, while I'm at it.
Didn't have many opportunities to do much....
