The Role
I had a really enjoyable few weeks at the company, mainly down to how welcome I was made to feel.
Colleagues said thank you for the work I'd completed and I really felt like a positive addition to the audit team.
Every question I asked was answered above and beyond what I expected, felt like colleagues were keen for me to learn.
There was always work to do but I was never too busy. I thought an internship might involve just making the tea but I was given actual work to do to help with the audit!
Fair amount, I was given the same work as a first year graduate.
Built up some networking skills and adaptability because as soon as I had got comfortable at a client/with an audit team, it was time to change, this pushed me out of my comfort zone a little but was valuable. However, audit is not that related to my degree!
The Company
Good atmosphere in the audit teams as well as extra drinks/social activities
The only issue was that it was a little short and it would have been good to rotate to another department.
Training, hoodies, stay in a hotel with meal and drinks.
Company Parties/Events
I've been offered a graduate position with them!
The Culture
Social laid on for the interns, invited to office drinks and to team drinks for one of the clients.
Centre of Birmingham so standard big city prices, although most of the social aspects were paid for already which was a great bonus!
Good-Birmingham city centre.
Yes but only a short internship really.
