SVS- Global Employer Services - Financial Services Review

The summer vacation scheme was incredibly well run. I was pleasantly surprised how much effort went in to ensuring that you had a sociable time both with the other SVS students as well as your team. It was a great insight to Deloitte as a company.

Even in a short 3 week summer placement my time was used valuably. It was nice to arrive in my designated team and be shown to a task instantly. It's always rubbish when you end up twiddling your thumbs on day 1!

I was provided with 2 buddy's in my team who were 1st year graduates. As well as a more experienced line manager that provided a great insight into what it's like to climb the ranks in Deloitte.

I learnt some great skills with Deloitte. It's always good to develop professional skills involved with client contact.

From day 1 there seemed to be a well thought out plan. The initial training was well organised and meant that not much time was wasted.

The team I worked for (GES- FS) were very welcoming! I had a great 3 weeks with them. They had the perfect balance of work to play!

I was able to attend all training days that were intended for the graduates. As well as e-learning modules.

Couldn't be a better insight into a full time role. What better way to see what it's like than to be immersed in a team.

A great company culture. I was able to see some of the things Deloitte offered outside of the office such as a charity cricket tournament.

I'm almost certainly applying for a full time role and I hope i'm successful .

I was paid well for my 3 week placement. £300+ / week.

Plenty of social events as well as some company presentations and training events.

Social events were great and plentiful!

Plenty of opportunity. I was invited on various football and cricket club events after work.
