The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed the internship.
Received great feedback from all team members and was made to feel welcome.
I felt like I could ask all supervisors for clarity and information on any issues throughout the internship.
Very well balanced - working day on an average day was 9-7.
Was given lots of responsibility and trusted to go to the client with issues relating to the audit.
The communication, teamwork and excel skills that I have picked up on my course came in handy on the internship.
The Company
Very chilled out atmosphere and all team members were keen to go for drinks after work.
Very well structured - a number of days were spent on inductions and training and then we were sent out to client sites to start work. There were also a lot of formal and informal socials organised. that was good to get to know the other interns.
We were given relevant training for our role. We learnt about the ICAEW ACA that Deloitte put their graduates through as well as the ongoing training course that are available through the online portal, and it is safe to say that they invest a lot into their people.

Company Parties/Events
Very appealing. I have my partner interview next week! I would love to work at Deloitte after I graduate!
The Culture
Yes - we organised various events throughout the internship
I was in the London office but managed to stay with family just outside London for free. Socialising costs nothing more than expected!
Various rooftop bars and great nightlife in London made the evenings and weekends enjoyable.
Yes. There were a number of sports clubs and affinity networks that we could get involved in. If I am successful in gaining graduate employment with Deloitte, I am hoping to join the Deloitte Rugby Team!
