The Role
Generally speaking the quality was high; I enjoyed working with everyone at the firm, the training was excellent and it seemed a good company to work for.
Colleagues were all great, very welcoming and helpful.
Support and guidance was good.
There was always work available for me to do (with an expectation that you ask for more if finished). I was never asked or expected to work the long hours that can be common in busy seasons, which may be a disadvantage (not giving a full insight).
I felt like a valued member of the team, and as I completed tasks successfully I was given more responsibility.
Working regularly with clients and many different colleagues helped hugely with communication skills, which will definitely be transferable in the future. The specifics of the role may be less widely applicable, but an understanding of finance that underlies a business may still be useful.
The Company
Mostly client based, so variable depending both on the colleagues on a job and the client itself. Generally good.
Generally everything was organised exceptionally well, with the notable exception of IT, with many systems inaccessible for the first few days.
Hugely. The amount of time and training given to all interns was quite remarkable for a 6 week placement.

Would definitely want to work for PwC in the future (though in a different line of service).
The Culture
As I was in a regional office there were relatively few interns I had regular contact with. I did make friends with interns from other offices however.
Pretty high, but I expected this.
Again I knew the area and knew the nightlife would be at best average.
Some (an excellent work party and an intern challenge).
