About You
The insight week was great, I learnt a lot about many divisions in the bank, there were very engaging talks and activities and you really got a feel for the bank's culture. It was very helpful and an enjoyable week.
They really invest in the week, I felt very valued. They organised networking events like drinks, breakfast, lunch and dinner which was great and there is room to progress with the bank.
The whole week was very well organised, during every activity we had an employee to help support us and everyone was approachable if you needed any help.
The sessions we done really helped with our presenting skills, working in groups, tips for assessment centres and networking giving me links to the company. It has really helped to assist me in figuring out what division I like and whether I like the industry.
The Company
It was incredibly well structured and organised but they still gave us to the time to talk with employees and was well spaced out. The sessions we done where very helpful and everything we done was useful in someway.
The atmosphere was great, everyone felt approachable. The HR team was great to ask questions to if you wasn't sure about anything, I made friends with the other students and the culture of the bank came across as a great place to work.
There was a talk on public speaking from a professional which was very engaging and helpful. We also had many chances to put that into practise when presenting. We also had activities in negotiation, innovation and group work throughout the week. They really did invest in us!
They gave us an overview of all the divisions and then specific shadowing in your areas of interest where you can ask more specific questions. There were always employees around to ask questions to about their job etc.
The culture of the bank came across to me within the first day, I couldn't quite pin point what exactly but the atmosphere was always happy and fun.
It was great to hear about other divisions you might not of thought about, and employees were they to answer any further questions
Everything Else
I was reimbursed expenses.
There were many opportunities for networking, everyday at breakfast or lunch.
They organised more networking events like drinks and meals.
We had a networking session to find out more about activities that employees can get involved in, e.g. volunteering.
I would highly recommend this insight to a friend!
