    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Throughout the week there was never a dull moment. Whilst a large proportion of the week fell under presentation and seminars, all of these were interesting and engaging.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • During the placement there was ample opportunities to engage and meet with business representatives all who were friendly and approachable.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • There were endless opportunities to ask questions and discuss the various lines of business with different business reps, who were fantastic in providing insight and advise into not only there specialist areas but there experience of BAML in general.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • The skills gained may not specifically help further in my studies, however moving beyond that towards starting a career they will b invaluable.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • It was clear that the campus recruitment team had been very meticulous in the organising of the entire week.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • The atmosphere created by the recruitment team and all involved business reps was friendly and welcoming for the entire week. Not only this but as participants entering the week as complete strangers the atmosphere allowed everyone involved to become closer and form friendships as the week unfolded.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • The week consisted and various speakers, some to enhance our industry knowledge and others to build general skill such as presentation skills.

    • Opportunities such as work shadowing provided valuable insight not only to the Bank as a whole but also within the various divisions .

    • There was a lot of emphasis throughout the week on the company's core foundations and culture, most of which was re-reinforced in the interactions with its various employees.

    • The entire experience was invaluable and has helped to provide a much clearer concept on how I would like to progress.

    • All expenses were reimbursed.

    • Everyday there were opportunities provided to network and meet business reps, all you were always welcoming and helpful.

    • All events were clearly well organised but also very enjoyable.
