About You
I loved it. My main complaint would be that it was too short.
Always given important tasks to do and made to feel like one of the team
I was assigned a 'Buddy' who was a first year and was always on hand to help me out I was also assigned a 'Champion' who was an assistant manager who I could also always go to for help and monitored and supported me during the internship
I believe the skills to be invaluable for beyond my degree, as the insight into the working world, the culture of this company, and the large amount of client interaction will be needed by me throughout my career
The Company
When I arrived I was given a plan of things to do for the start of the insight Then during the insight jobs would change and new things come up but I was always kept in the loop and it was ensured that I would get as most out of it as I could at each turn.
Everyone was very friendly and I was able to socialise with the team on numerous occasions after work During work times the atmosphere was very good, but a lot of work was always done
Many members of staff took it upon themselves to help train and develop me, however 3 weeks is a rather short time to really train up and invest a lot in an intern. I was also unable to use some tools and programs that I would need to use in the real role, as they do not supply them for interns due to their cost
Got a real insight and was able to talk to many members of staff regarding life there
Lots.
There was huge variety in the tasks and jobs each day, and this attracted me to this career
Everything Else
I was paid
We met up with different members of the firm and members from different regions
Lively and everyone loves getting involved. They also were very good with me, despite only being at the firm a very short time, I never felt left out
I noticed a few things flying around on emails
Definitely
