About You
I really enjoyed my time at the firm, the work was very challenging and the people at the firm were very friendly and approachable.
I felt that the work I performed was actually useful, which made me feel valued.
I received all the support I needed but was not spoon-fed information, which made my placement more challenging.
My experience at the firm helped me develop professionally, I developed a professional approach to problems.
The Company
The scheme was generally very well structured with a mix of presentations, workshops and socials. Maybe a couple of more socials wold have been useful.
The atmosphere was fantastic, the fellow vacation students were extremely friendly and sociable.
We received formal IT training and got to participate in a number of useful workshops. We also received regular individual feedback from our supervisors.
I got a real insight into a trainee's life at the firm which I found extremely useful.
The insight was very helpful in the sense that I got a real feel for the collegiate and genuinely friendly atmosphere at the firm.
I found the actual work more, the presentations a little bit less useful during the day, but they were both helped me make a decision on my future career.
Everything Else
I was paid, could not tick the box for some reason.
Yes, there were numerous opportunities to meet other employees such as partner drinks, socials and informal event.
I was happy with the networking opportunities, we had a networking skills workshop and a number of opportunities to network with more senior people.
Yes, I found out about a number of pro bono opportunities as well as sport clubs etc.
