The Role
Great place to work but the internship wasn't that great in showing this.
I was passed to a new person each week and didn't even know who was supposed to give me work/ who to ask for work
Unfortunately, I was unlucky to have very little to do during the internship - there were days where I had actually nothing at all to do. My buddies tried to give me some things but there wasn't really anything for them to give.
I was doing nothing most of the time, and was given a couple of odd jobs to do but nothing solid - no project or anything.
On the things that I was given, I did know that they were things that other associates would have done.
Great name on the CV and helped with interpersonal skills but not a lot of Audit work really
The Company
Nice people and an open office - it was really nice. But everyone mostly kept to themselves. Theres an internal chat system which I used to talk to other interns.
HR did a great job of organizing the internship and events around it. It was just that there was no work which I could do - which wasn't their fault at all.
Spent a couple of days of training and a lot of on-the job training.
Subsidised Canteen
Have an interview in a couple of days with the company.
The Culture
A lot of HR organized events and we all got together almost every day after work
London will always be expensive but I just commuted from home.
Good nightlife - went to a lot of bars and pubs
Lot of social events - no charity events though :(
