The Role
I throughly enjoyed myself at TfL. I made some great working relationships and really hope that i can rejoin after I graduate.
Once i was introduced to the teams i was working in, the people within the teams made me feel welcome and part of the team straight away.
If i ever had a problem i could go to my manager and disscuss and then we could resolve it.
The work load was perfect on a day-to-day basis. if i was every wanting work, i would go and ask my manager and they could give me some more.
I was given enough responsibility within my placements.
Having completed my year in industry placement with TfL I have gained on the job experience that has given me great ideas for writing my dissertation. Having worked with a lot of different people in TfL my confidence as grown. The training i recieved from both TfL and RICS has really helped me socially and professionally.
The Company
The atomsphere in the office as friendy and a great worknig environment.
The overall work placements and intership set up excellently. TfL graduate managers would find you a placement first for the introducing into the company and then it was up to your to find your next one. This was a great way to do it as it made you have to research your next placements.
During my time at TfL the company invested a lot of time and money into sending me onto courses both internal and external so I got the best possible continuous development.
