The Role
I was given a lot more responsibility than I expected and felt very much a part of the team.
If my manager wasn't available, someone else always would be.
Sometimes I was extremely busy but I preferred to be too busy than bored.
As mentioned before I was given a lot more responsibility than I expected - although I wouldn't say I was running the show!
I learnt so much and I think will become aparant when starting back at Uni but I know it will certainly help me when applying for grad jobs.
The Company
We had a great office, everyone was so friendly and there was a great work/social balance. I made some really great friends that I will stay in touch with.
I couldn't really fault the organisation. I was a little bit wary on my first day and didn't know what to expect but the application process and communication throughout the year was great.
I was made to feel like any other member of the team - I attended all meetings, sales visits, went to customer events in places such as Edinburgh and London and also went to the annual awards in Manchester which was fantastic. If I needed additional training then it was provided.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
I would definately look to go back to work for them if the opportunity was available.
The Culture
There was a good number of placement students and we had a strong bond which was great and also made some great friends across the business - it was a very friendly office.
Being out of a main city and in a very studenty town, the immeadiate surroundings were very reasonable.
Being close to Nottingham and Leicester made the nightlife better
There wasn't much organised social events but I had made friends to organise my own thing with people.
