The Role
Really enjoyed integrating myself within GSK, plenty of work and projects were ongoing for me to be involved with!
I was treated like any other staff member although I was still a student.
I had access to support anytime of the day, even though I did not need a lot of support it was always nice to know I would receive quality help if need be.
Plenty of work over the year, with a lot of my own projects and assisting other staff with their projects. Not too much work but enough to make the day fly by!
Most of the time I was running my own projects across the site and had a lot of responsibility to meet corporate deadlines.
I have become very organised and professional in my work, I hope to take this along with me in my future studies.
The Company
Genuinely nice people, who were up for a good laugh at any time of the day! Office was quiet with only a small team, made it easy to concentrate on work etc..
Impressive organisation from GSK, everything was planned and I had no issues.
Numerous training days (Fire, Manual Handling) also put through all learning documents about GSK and their working ethics.

Very appealing graduate scheme!
The Culture
Great balance of students and apprentices on site, very easy to make friends and organise events.
Very cheap.
Quiet, but not far from city nightlife.
Based in the Lake District sort of speaks for itself!
