  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Really enjoyed integrating myself within GSK, plenty of work and projects were ongoing for me to be involved with!

  • I was treated like any other staff member although I was still a student.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I had access to support anytime of the day, even though I did not need a lot of support it was always nice to know I would receive quality help if need be.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Plenty of work over the year, with a lot of my own projects and assisting other staff with their projects. Not too much work but enough to make the day fly by!

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Most of the time I was running my own projects across the site and had a lot of responsibility to meet corporate deadlines.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have become very organised and professional in my work, I hope to take this along with me in my future studies.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Genuinely nice people, who were up for a good laugh at any time of the day! Office was quiet with only a small team, made it easy to concentrate on work etc..

  • Impressive organisation from GSK, everything was planned and I had no issues.

  • Numerous training days (Fire, Manual Handling) also put through all learning documents about GSK and their working ethics.

  • Great balance of students and apprentices on site, very easy to make friends and organise events.

  • Very cheap.

  • Quiet, but not far from city nightlife.
