The Role
Brilliant atmosphere from day one, great people to work with and generally a fantastic experience
Instantly accepted as part of the team and given important responsibilities from the first day
Could always ask anyone in the department for help, even the Director was there to give a hand when possible
Most of the time when I was given tasks they were easily finished and found myself asking a lot if anyone needed a hand, but i understood that it was quite difficult to delegate anything interesting from their own work.
I found I was given lots of repsonsibility as an intern and enjoyed this attitude from the other staff
Not so much with my degree, but it was invaluable for later life, I had a great experience that lead me to apply for a position within that same department
The Company
Great atmosphere, always someone to have a laugh with
It was quite ad hoc at times with what clients I was on, but I always found the formalities brilliantly organised and there was always something available for me to sink my teeth into in the office
I think they valued greatly my skills and the opporunities that I presented to them as a future employee.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
After a second round interview and presentation i was offered a place in the same department
The Culture
They seemed to spend some time together outside the workplace, and they all seemed to be quite good friends
Because i had my house for university it was cheap living, although if i was renting it would have been a different matter.
