The Role
This was my first proper internship, so I didn't know what to expect. I thoroughly enjoyed my placement from start to finish.
I was made to feel welcome the moment I arrived. So, I think I was genuinely valued by my colleagues.
Support and guidance was there when needed.
There was always plenty to do, so I was never bored.
It was the right balance of having enough responsibility, whilst having help when needed.
I did quite a lot of embedded programming, which is very useful for a few of my modules.
The Company
It was the right balance of a relaxed atmosphere, whilst also a very productive.
The placement was organised long in advance, including my accommodation.
The correct training is there is needed. Personally, I didn't take full advantage of this.

The Culture
There is an intern Facebook and email group, which can be used to organise events. For example, meeting at the pub after work on a Friday.
My accommodation was £23 per night, but there are cheaper options out there. The cost of socialising would be slightly higher than average.
It's mainly pubs, however there are a few clubs.
Yes, there are many opportunities made available by the company. This includes, 5-aside football every week.
