The Role
Really enjoyable, office was a nice space to work in, the work was interesting and made a difference
Colleagues understood how hard it was to come straight into the oil and gas sector without prior knowledge and helped out where they could. Was invited out to all the staff nights out and got involved into the team, had a leaving party and leaving presents.
For business needs my managers where sometimes out of the office for a matter of weeks which made guidance difficult
Workload was busy but fair.
I was put onto incident investigations and real projects which had some depth and massive business requirement
Skills and experiences learnt were fantastic. I got the opportunity to go offshore and really learnt from what I saw
The Company
Diligent usually but everyone had breaks and lunch together and the chat over the lunch table was generally quite funny and interesting
Very well ran
Massive amount of paid training was given to me as the BOISET & MIST training along with Maximo and Hub training
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
was successful in getting a job
The Culture
interns managed to organise many trips into the highlands or on to the beach etc.
normal aberdonian prices
