The Role
I loved the work placement, it was a really great insight into the world of large scale organisations.
I felt that work we did on daily basis made you feel very valuable to your colleagues as well as people in senior positions.
The support and guidance was second to none, I would of course have my daily functional work but the opportunities I got outside from it were great.
Very busy.
I was given a lot responsibility to managae my own projects as well as projects for other colleagues.
In one year of industry, I have learnt more from it than my first two years of my degree.
The Company
We had a lot of opportunities at the office to have fun and relax as long as we were on top of our work.
Very well organised.
They spent a lot of time and money to help me develop as placement student.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
The future employment prospects within the organisation are potentially life changing.
The Culture
The company is so large that there were plenty of students also on placement which made it a great social scene.
Expensive
London!
We had plenty of opportunities such as charitable fundraisers or just socialising with colleagues,
