The Role
It was a great place to work with a wide range of opportunities available for me to develop as a person and use my skills.
I had a really supportive team withion which I worked. They looked out for ways in which I could progress and reccomended me for the graduate scheme.
At the beginning of the placement I recieved a lot of support to get me started, however as I became more capable I was given more freedom
Some days were busier than others, but generally there was a good balance.
A lot! To start with I didnt have much, but by the end I was responsible for running a fully functional plant lab for 6 weeks on my own
Amazing experience, and gave me great confinence with the skills I have. Also helped build experience of working in an interdisciplinary team.
The Company
It was fairly quiet but there were times we had a lot of fun too
Set up very well. It worked so one student trained up the next sharing the knowledge and givign guidelines for the year ahead
I was given any opportunity I wanted to take, and they made a great effort to allow me to develop.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen

Hopefully I will have a job with them, as long as they are taking on graduates when I finish
