The Role
The atmosphere in Softwire is great - you don't feel like you are obliged to do something, but somehow magically you really want to work. I really liked it.
There are many very friendly people, and they can appreciate if you do something worth it.
The task manager was very helpful, we could discuss anything code-related with him and he would find the time (even when he was quite busy with all of us interns).
I had almost always something going on, and when I needed break, I could just go to a chillout room to play guitar or play pool with someone.
Interns were working on an internal project (maybe later released), mainly meant as a training one - but I still got that feeling that what I was doing was important
I learned really a lot. And I think that the technologies used are commonly used in the "real projects", so I hope to use them later in my life someday!
The Company
Awesome atmosphere, really.
Several presentations on both general and more specific topics in Software Engineering were really helpful.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Will definitely consider it for a full-time job.
