About You
Breathtaking work goes on here and we were allowed to see every inch of it. Interns were able to choose which area they wanted to look into and had opportunities to talk to lots of people
There were only 5 of us so we got a personal treatment. The staff looking after us were very friendly and great.
Received a pack in the post a month before with useful information and lots of documentation and information throughout the stay there which was the best thing. We didn't feel lost at the firm.
I now know which area I want to continue focusing on as I can imagine the possible career paths which it will lead to. It also helped me decide on which masters program will be most useful.
The Company
Very structured at the start. We received calendar invites for all events and a map. Towards the end we were allowed to explore whichever areas most interested us. This was perhaps my most favourite aspect.
Very friendly. Great to be around such smart people who always took their time in explaining what they were doing for you. The office was easy to get around and lots of social events in the evenings. They tried to make work a place you want to be rather than have to be.
Many training and development sessions which were either 1 on 10 or 1 on 1. I really can't believe that we got 1:1 sessions. Perhaps my favourite aspect right there.
100% - the second half of the experience was very useful in figuring out what a full time role would be like. They also had a presentation on the different roles on offer.
Company culture was evident after the first week there. Fun, easy going, smart people, always helpful.
All very useful - perhaps they could provide some of the materials to take home and read.
Everything Else
Reimbursed expenses
Yes - as mentioned before. Lots of opportunities to network with employees who were very helpful.
Great - not too many but a good mix of events. Employees were both helpful and fun.
Not so much unfortunately.
Yes - absolutely. Already had 3 friends apply after me.
