The Role
The company went out their way to make sure we were enjoying the placement. Weekly social events and weekly HR contact to ensure we were having a good time
The company gave us a lot of responsibility as interns and the whole floor was interested in our project, making our work feel highly valued
We were able to ask anyone on the floor for help and they would happily sacrifice as much as we needed for help. Along with the daily meetings with a scrum master I felt we had more than sufficient guidance for the project
There was enough work to do during the day without feeling overloaded
We were given a new project from scratch where we had complete freedom over the direction we wanted to take the project.
Whilst my degree gave me the skills to do the job, the job gave me skills which will make my working of my degree much easier example of which is test driven development
The Company
Working as an intern team we were able to have fun as well as work.
The organisation before on boarding was excellent allowing us to begin work from day one
There was a week of full training and continuous training throughout the entire internship everyday something new was learnt
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
I have been made an offer from them and I am very happy to be returning back there as a graduate
The Culture
Plenty of opportunities to socialise and network without feeling peer pressure of having to go an socialise
London... It's an expensive place but definitely worth it
