The Role
It was a very interesting experience. My background is technical but on this occasion I had the chance people that study different topics which were not related to what I was doing.
I felt really valued. The team I have worked in has always supported me and encouraged me. I felt that the work I was doing will be of great use to them. The most important aspect in my opinion was that they made me feel like I was working there for a long time before.
I was always advised on what I should do but I was given the liberty to take my own decisions.
The workload was alright. Some days can prove to be busier than others.
I was made responsible for a live project that would help my team with future projects.
I managed to learn very new and interesting things that I am sure I will be able to apply during my university projects.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office is relaxed and pleasant. In my opinion there is a perfect balance that increases the productivity.
It was well organised.
I believe that the initial training is the basis which is needed to get accommodated very fast with what you are doing.
The opportunities Barclays offers are huge for people that have the chance to be on the graduate scheme
The Culture
Yes. We have been organised social events in which we can all gather and socialise.
The cost was moderate.
The nightlife is good.
There are plenty of activities that you can volunteer for, both within the company and within the team you work in.
