The Role
I really enjoyed the client work, when I was put in the office it wasn't as exciting but summer is quite a quiet time for the audit team and at least I was surrounded by other people similar to my age at this time.
All the KPMG staff in Plymouth were really helpful and friendly.
The Senior Manager was really helpful and all the Assistant Managers and in charges onmy jobs were lovely.
I was usually busy on my client sites.
I didn't expect to actually contribute work towards the audits.
I am not persuing a career in audit but I did gain skills in terms of general business skills, how to act in that sort of environment etc.
The Company
Lots of social outings.
The first 6 weeks where I was out on clients was organised very well.
The in charges took a lot of time to help me and to make sure I understood not only what I was doing but why I was doing it.
Subsidised Canteen
I did apply for a full time graduate job but was rejected at the final interview stage.
The Culture
Yes there was lots of things going on especially with the E grades as it was such a small office everyone was very close.
Plymouth is very cheap.
I didn't go out on a night out in Plymouth but I have been to Oceana there before and that's good!
I didn't really find any of these.
