The Role
Greatly enjoyed the job, as well as the well structured scheme, the culture at the firm and the social side of the internship.
Was given work that was of genuine importance to the team.
People were always available to answer the questions that I had.
My project was filling a genuine need for my team.
Graduated the same summer, but learned useful skills (e.g. Excel) for future employment.
The Company
Good atmosphere in the office and I was invited to a couple of summer parties/drinks for different departments.
Very well organised placement, with evening events, weekly talks from different areas of the business and personal feedback/guidance.

Company Parties/Events
M&G has a very well structured rotational graduate programme, which includes around a month of offsite training to start the scheme (a great chance to get to know the other graduates) and represents a fantastic opportunity for seeing different parts of the business. A number of interns were made offers for this scheme.
The Culture
The internship had c.30 people on it, which was a great size as there were always people that you'd get on with, while being small enough to get to know all the participants. We did lots of stuff outside of work together.
London is expensive, but you're compensated for living and working there.
M&G are in the city and there are loads of good pubs/bars in the area.
