The Role
I spend 16 weeks during the summer working as Technology analyst which was great and invaluable experience for me.
The colleagues and the people working at the company are very knowledgeable, approachable and supportive.
I had the best manager I could have wished for. He was always there for me to guild whenever I needed.
The investment bank environment is constantly busy and changing - and this is one of the main reasons that makes is so interesting to be part of.
I was trusted by my managers and I was given a lot of responsibility.
The skills are not purely focused on the immediate role you are placed, you get to experience and develop much more beyond that.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office was very professional, however people were always happy to discuss any problems, provide me with feedback and guidance.
The internship was organised very well from start to end.
The company allowed me to attend 3 day training program outside of the office. This gave me not only new knowledge, but also introduced me to the whole intern class and many other senior staff.

The Culture
There were a lot of other like minded students on the internship program.
The offices in London are based in Canary Wharf and the area around is expensive, but this is expected.
London never sleeps.
Yes, the company runs a lot of sports and social clubs. Many of which are free to join including for interns. I was part of the tennis club which was great in organizing weekly tennis sessions with the interns and other permanent staff.
