About You
I really enjoyed then insight week, I got such a good overview of the departments which has been really valuable as to what I want to do in my future career.
Very valued, I believe BAML did everything to make us feel valued and to ensure we each enjoyed what we were doing throughout the week.
As I applied through employability I received a lot of support and guidance, especially through the application process for the insight week, this involved receiving extra time for the numerical reasoning test as I am dyslexic. Also BAML really supported me throughout the week to ensure I was not finding anything difficult because of dyslexia.
From the numerous exercises we undertook during the insight week, we developed a lot of skills. What I will take back to my studies to enhance even more so, my skills in team work, as well as to being more understanding of the programming language Python.
The Company
Very well structured, the entire week went smoothly and well timetables
The atmosphere was good, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and were very friendly.
I believe the firm invests very heavy on their employees, from talking to newly employed graduates on the course they go through a lot of training once they start the course, and this seems to continue throughout there time at BAML.
Yes, I got a good understanding of what a job at BAML would be like through the numerous networking events that took place, I got to talk to employees and how there normal working day is structured
I didn't really know what the company culture was like before the week, but quickly understood it was a 'one team' culture, everyone seems to help each other and gel together to form one large team.
It has really me think of my future career path, and has strengthened my thoughts of one day working for an investment bank
Everything Else
I was reimbursed expenses
There was a lot of networking opportunities to talk to employees of the bank and ask them what their roles were truly like.
Really enjoyable to get to know employees of the company and how they all act as a team
I found out from the tour of the building and talking to employees especially the volunteering BAML allows their employees to take part in
Yes
