The Role
The structure of the programme needs to be improve. More training at the beginning is desirable.
The atmosphere was amazing all of my colleagues were extremely supportive and helpful and made me feel part of the team.
Anytime I had questions about the tasks I worked on the managers were more than happy to give me some guidance.
There were very busy and very quiet days. The workload varied a lot depending on the deals going on in the bank, etc.
More than expected. I was working on deals where my work was used in reports. I had to present to clients and also more than 40 bankers from which one Regional Director. More importantly, I can say that with my work I was given the chance to bring value to Stantander and this resulted in a great "learning" experience.
The Company
Very positive, relaxed and supportive.
There isn't a clear structure and to my opinion it really depends on your line manager/s, which in my case were really proactive and got me involved in many different projects.

National Travel
Got extremely good feedback from my line manager (Regional Director) and I am positive about getting an offer from them.
The Culture
Being based in Manchester I can say that it is quite cheap to live and work here.
There are clubs for everyone - cheaper and more expensive.
