The Role
Enjoyed internship, providing a very good insight into the world of finance and banking.
Collegues provided support and were friendly throughout
Good support and guidance given. Managers were very approachable which made things a lot easier
Busy on most days, many tasks being given and always opportunity to take on extra workload.
Responsibility was given throughout the 10 weeks, allowing me to produce work of real value.
My familiarity of financial statements gained from the internship will bode well in my studies in financial accounting.
The Company
Vibrant and friendly
Fairly organised, although some IT issues/admin at the start
Weekly development meetings with my buddy was useful. Also had opportunities to visit the trading floor and a branch, as well as informal meetings with the financial controller, and other senior directors

Very appealing, good all round company, providing high flexibility with a friendly and generally vibrant atmosphere.
The Culture
Yes, we organised drinks with other Santander interns in London.
