The Role
Everyone - at every level - was really friendly and willing to answer questions.
You felt like people wanted you to be there, and actively sought to get to know you.
As it was one day this does not really apply.

The presentations about what the firm did and what trainees did at the firm was really useful and helped me understand what being a trainee solicitor in a City firm is like.
The Company
Everyone was really friendly, approachable and helpful.
Very well organised. All the different activities flowed smoothly. Particularly as the firm has just moved offices.
Despite it being a day you felt they were investing a lot of time in you, particularly having partners attend the lunch.
National Travel
I choose to accept a training contract with this firm mainly because of the open day, and the fact the firm was the same on my assessment centre.
The Culture
Not really applicable as was only there a day - but am aware the vacation scheme students had a social scene.
However, the firm is a City based law firm so this is not surprising.
Good - there are a number of pubs, restaurants and bars within walking distance of the office. The office also benefits from being on St Katharine's Dock which is always nice on a summer's evening.
Not really applicable as only there one day.
