The Role
A great year with lots of responsibility given to placement students.
Welcomed on the first day and instantly felt like part of a team.
Manager structured year but also encouraged me to find my own projects in other departments. I could always ask my manager for any guidance needed.
Towards the end of placement my workload dropped so was a little bored!
Gained responsibility through placement. Students had to show initiative to gain more responsibility.
Skills and training reflected what I had done in Uni and have helped my third year modules.
The Company
Very friendly with managers sitting among everyone else
Projects were planned for me to join when I started however there was no clear overview of what I would be doing/achieve by the end.
If there was some training you wanted to do they were accommodating!
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
A great place to work but the wrong brands for what I'd like to achieve! Many staff have previously done placements.
The Culture
A very social place to work!
Head office on the outskirts of London so a lot more expensive than other parts of the country
A few pubs but not a great deal going on!
