The Role
A great working environment and exceptionally friendly and welcoming team
No one was ever too busy to answer my questions no matter how basic they were
constant advice was provided throughout my placement on various different topics
my project had a nice balance throughout
I was given complete control over my project throughout however was given suitable supervision
the skills I learned will be able to be put to good use
The Company
the office was great. Jokes were tossed around and people had a laugh but were professional when it was required. Cake break on a Friday was great!!
everything was in place and well organised to ensure a smooth transition into the company
A lot was invested and a number of training courses were put on specifically for interns. I also attended a number of opportunities to see other parts of the company and oil industry

I was able to go through the graduate assessment center and secure a job before I started my final year of university, very useful!
The Culture
All interns were living in student halls (all 30 of us!). This made a great party atmosphere at the weekends!
Perfectly reasonable. You could get by or spend that little bit more
It was a lot of fun but I have a feeling it was partly because of the great social side of the internship
A good number of sports and other opportunities were available
