The Role
I thouroughly enjoyed my time with PwC. From the teams I worked with to the clients I was involved in. PwC really do go for work hard, play hard with plenty of stuff outside work going on.
I was given tasks that I was solely responsible for so I felt as though my contribution was valued.
Managers and senior staff were always on hand or no more than an instant message away if any help was needed, whether that was about the work or even getting to a colleague.
I worked outside the posted hours but the days go so quickly do to the nature of the tasks.
Specific tasks were designated too me and senior staff could access these to check my progress and guide me through if necessary.
The people skills were the main factor. I feel now that I can comfortably talk to anyone even if they are in a more senior position.
The Company
I wasn't in the office very often as work is mainly client facing, however the times I was in there I felt part of the team.
I could not fault the overall structure of the process.
I can't understand how it is financially viable given the amount PwC seemed to spend on each intern during my time. I only hope to return their investment.

I was offered a job pending my degree results. I have every intention of accepting this.
The Culture
I lived in my local area, Liverpool, and the cost of living is very cheap compared to other cities that I have visited in the U.K.
The Liverpool nightlife is better than any I have been to in the U.K. (Leeds, Nottingham, Oxford, Manchester). The density of clubs is amazing and if you are in the know, there are plenty of hidden gem bars dotted around the vibeing central district.
There was always something going on. I had group meetings, international festivals, sports days and other socials amongst the staff.
