About You
I really enjoyed it. It gave me a good insight of a life of a city law firm in a collegiate and stimulating law firm.
I felt extremely valued. I was given memo to draft for clients that the associate barely change before sending it. All the work I was given was interesting.
A lot. Everybody was keen and available to answer all my questions at all time.
The Company
It was very well structured. We had a assigned buddy who was a trainee who would show you around the office on the induction day. We were also given a program with all the activities planned for the week such as networking lunch, conferences etc.
It was amazing! I think the atmosphere is what makes Taylor Wessing very unique. Everybody is enjoying working with each other, there is little hierarchy. A very collegiate and pleasant atmosphere to work in!
They invest a reasonable time. The HR team was really keen to answer all of our questions and guide us through the application process.
It allowed me to understand that all city law firm culture are different. Having done another vac scheme at another law firm, I can really say that the culture of the firm varies a lot from firm to firm. At Taylor Wessing, the culture was very easy to fit in and I think that is what makes me enjoyed my time there so much.
Everything Else
I was not paid though I had free access to the firm cantine.
Networking lunch and conferences were organised to allow us to meet with other solicitors of the firm.
There is a few sporting club and events.
Yes I will definitely. It is a really good place to learn.
