The Role
The day was fun and informative.
As it was only a day session, I did not have any responsibilities. However I felt very welcomed by the firm and people spent a lot of time engaging with the open day students.
There was a lot of contact with senior partners and heads of departments.
It was a packed day but no actual work to do.
The day was extremely helpful for the training contract application process. We got tips which applied not only to this firm but also others.
The Company
The office atmosphere was vibrant.
The day was extremely well organised.
I felt the firm invested a lot into the open day students. We met a lot of people who seemed keen to be involved in the recruitment process. Every level of employee was involved - from trainee to head of firm.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
I now work for RPC as a first year trainee.
The Culture
There was a drinks reception afterwards for the open day students and trainees. We were encouraged to socialise.
London is expensive but firm events are free!
There are a few bars around and many more a short walk over to the City.
Opportunities were limited on the open day but there are many options for employees of the firm.
