The Role
I enjoyed working with Hiscox, it has a great company atmosphere and everyone was very welcoming.
I felt I became an important member of my team through out the internship
Whenever I was stuck with work, I could always ask for help and my team would give me great support.
My team worked mainly with legal contracts so without a good understanding of contract law there was only so much I could do.
I was given 4 main projects over the 8 week placement, as well as smaller day to day jobs,, all of which which where important to the company.
I was given training in Excel, Presentation Skills and an Introduction to Insurance, all of which I think will be beneficial to me in the future.
The Company
Great office atmosphere, everyone
Very well organised. On the whole I was kept busy with work as well as the day being broken up with meeting and other tasks away from my desk.
With the various training sessions and day to day I feel the company invested a lot in me.

I'd love to come back and work with Hiscox. I'd ideally like to shift divisions and if the opportunity presented itself I'd defiantly come back.
The Culture
I got on really well with the other interns and the current batch of graduates where also very welcoming
Naturally it was expensive being in London but Hiscox had discounts at some of the surrounding bar's which was useful.
Being in the city there was always something going on
There probably was but I was busy enough
