The Role
This placement allowed me to meet like minded people and gain experience in a job I would love to do. Found it to be a great year out and addition to my CV.
Students were made to feel very valued as we contributed to a large portion of the work done by the department
Excellent support from supervisors used to dealing with students.
Fairly busy, depending on lab times. Workload varied but was adequate.
A large degree towards the end of the placement.
It has made a excellent addition to my applications, showing a great depth of experience that will help my applications.
The Company
Most were happy to help with any quires, There was often social events and group meetings.
Very well organised from applying to the day to day running of placements.
Any effort to extend your knowledge was made and you were encouraged to shadow those you dont normally see to learn new techniques.
