The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at GSK. I carried out work that made a difference to my team and customers.
I felt instantly welcome into my team. Outside of my team everyone was very willing to give me time and help me in anyway they could.
My manager supported me throughout the year. He guided me on how to improve my skills and what pieces of work I could pick up to do this.
This varied throughout the year but to make sure I wasn't doing nothing I got involved in community events around the office.
I was given a lot of responsibility throughout the year and work that really counted.
Throughout the year I was pushed to develop my skills by my manager and the team around me. I believe this will really benefit me in my career.
The Company
There was a really good atmosphere within the office. There is always something extra to get involved in.
There was a great support network. GSK as a whole are very experienced with dealing with placement students.
This varies from department to department and the job role.
