The Role
I really enjoyed it and gained a huge amount of knowledge for my final year in University.
I was never asked to make tea or photocopy. Every task given to me was different and taught me a knew skill.
I was always able to ask questions and always got a helpful response. The team took time to sit down and explain things to me.
There was a lot of work going around the office and I always had things to do.
I was tasked with writing reports, doing calculations and talking to external organisations to get information.
They have helped hugely! I would be lost without these placements and would have struggled a great deal with some of my units. These placements should be compulsory for everyone.
The Company
It was a bustling office with a great sense of humour. Everyone was very relaxed and open to questions. I never felt uncomfortable. I was always included in any after work events.
I was thoroughly impressed and appreciative of the flexibility given to me when setting up my placement. I had my placement organised by the christmas before.
I was given a full induction and health and safety training. I was provided with full PPE for me to keep and use on my site visits.

I would love to work with the company and have applied for the graduate scheme.
The Culture
I didn't really get to socialise with any other placement students other than my university friends in other offices.
I live in Cardiff where I undertook my placement so the cost of living was negligible.
Cardiff has a great night life and I was constantly invited to go on post work pub trips.
Not really.
