The Role
The work was very insightful and enjoyable. I felt very supported during the placement by my colleagues
The big responsibility given came as a pleasant surprise
Very much
Some days were a bit slow, in general I think I could have handled more work
Parts of whole projects were my responsibility, even towards customer reviews and conferences
It has given a perspective on the course material studied in university and how it translates to an everyday engineering environment
The Company
There was time for plenty of coffee and tea breaks but evenly, if there was work to do it got done on time
No issues whatsoever
The work I was given was the greatest part in my personal development
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Have been offered a job and sponsorship
The Culture
There was a good atmosphere between the placement students
Cheap coming from London
Slow, but Leeds and Manchester were close so that made up for it
I got involved in the weekly football
