About You
Greatly enjoyed the networking drinks with the trainees, really let us get a taste for the firm's culture. Everybody was really friendly and willing to elaborate on their advice.
The firm gave us a lot of resources such as booklets and worksheets throughout the insight to help us learn how to stand out in the application process.
We were kept in constant contact with the HR team who were there to provide help whenever needed whilst we were given a lot of exposure to trainees, associates and partners.
It will definitely help with applications during my penultimate year, I know have a better understanding of the practice groups within the firm, the corporate workshop will especially help with handling potential tasks in assessment centres.
The Company
Everything followed the timetable without being rushed.
Very friendly and interactive.
They gave us workshops to help develop our skills and learn abut what it means to be a commercial lawyer. Trainees were always around to help us individually and in smaller groups.
The four hours of shadowing a trainee individually really helped get to grips with what they do in their day-to-day life with the firm. Would have loved to have had more time!
A lot of opportunities were given to interact with the solicitors within the firm which let you understand how they see the company culture.
Very, it gave an insight into the different departments in a commercial law firm and the working life style to help me decide my future career path
Everything Else
I was reimbursed expenses
A lot, there were chances to network at every meal time and at the gallery visit on the first day!
The people were very relaxed and easy to talk to.
Not so much
Yes, well worth the application process
