  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I very much enjoyed myself. There was interesting work to be done and the people I worked around were extremely friendly

  • I felt very valued by my colleagues. They gave me feedback on tasks that were important to me and oversaw my development whilst working there.

  • I was given a large amount of support whenever I asked. Whether this involved a sit down chat or talking through technical points.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • The amount I had to do varied a great amount. Some days there would be lots but on other days not much. This may be due to the fact it wasn't a particularly busy working period.

  • I was given a fair amount of responsibility for my level of knowledge.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I believe the skills I have developed will help me perform the job now that I have accepted a permanent placement.

  • The atmosphere was very open and friendly.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The internship was well organised from start to finish. I felt supported by the internship staff throughout the placement. The events organised for us were also lots of fun.

  • The company did not offer a great a deal of training but gave me opportunities to meet clients and learn a bit more about the role.

  • They are extremely appealing hence why I have taken a permanent offer.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes, definitely. We met up on regular occasions and socialised. At local bars or to do sporting activities nearby.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Quite expensive. I had to live at home throughout the internship.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Fantastic. Being right in the centre of London really makes it easy to get to some of the best nights out.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Not as many as I would have liked in terms of sporting. This may have been due to a lack of searching on my part however.
