About You
I enjoyed it a lot, it was very informative and well organised.
EY staff made us feel very valued, as if they were keen to make us part of the team as appose to some other companies who give the impression that you would be lucky to work for them. I was treated with a lot of respect, which is very important to me.
I felt that I received a great deal of support during my Discover EY experience, I always knew where I was supposed to be heading next and what I would be doing.
It was only an insight weekend so I didn't gain much technical knowledge but I did gain valuable skills in communication and how to act in a more professional setting. It also gave me an important fast-track to an assessment centre.
The Company
The experience was extremely well structured, the programmes two days were laid out well before the event took place making sure everyone knew what to expect.
The atmosphere felt welcoming and friendly, giving us plenty of opportunity to chat and ask questions to the recruitment team, other staff members and students also on the programme.
Only a two day programme but the firm did offer me a fast-track assessment centre and plenty of support from their student recruitment team.
I got a great idea of what it would be like to work at EY through detailed first hand experiences presented to us by staff members from different departments.
Those running the event made the company view of valuing their employes with respect and integrity very clear throughout.
Very valuable. I went away from the event set on working for EY and have now secured an industrial placement with the company.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed my travel and the company put me up in a very nice hotel for 2 nights which I was really impressed by.
Yes, there were numerous question and answer sessions and even a dinner and networking session where we could talk to other graduate workers and staff in a more relaxed setting.

Yes, they informed us of activities that many employees get involved in including a number of sporting activities.
Yes, it was a great experience, I took a lot from it and would defiantly recommend others to take part.
