  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I thoroughly enjoyed the summer vacation scheme, which provided me with a valuable opportunity to understand the day-to-day operations of an international commercial law firm.

    • I was warmly welcomed and my colleagues were friendly and helpful. They are willing to answer any questions and assigned a wide range of work for me to work on.

    • My supervisors and trainee buddy were very friendly and shared their experiences with me. The firm also provided the vacation scheme students with training workshops and feedback.

    • The valuable opportunity equipped me with greater confidence and provided me an opportunity to experience the legal profession from a trainee's perspective. It also trained my interpersonal and time-management skills.

    • The vacation scheme was well structured. The firm provided vacation scheme students with a schedule on the first day and we know what they expect from us.

    • Pinsent Masons is an approachable - my colleagues are willing to explain to me the daily operations of the firm. They are also encouraging and actively give us tasks to work on.

    • The firm offered me a vacation scheme placement, where we can work at their offices. There are also socials and training workshops throughout.

    • By working as part of the team, the few weeks allowed me to understand how an international commercial law firm operates.

    • Yes there were talks, socials and other opportunities for us to ask our trainee buddies.

    • The numerous networking opportunities not only allowed us to interact with other teams in the firm, and also with other firms in the city.

    • yes, there are various probono opportunities via the starfish programme, which is exciting.
