The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my work placement, and look forwards to returning as a graduate next year.
I felt very valued by my colleagues - everyone went out of their way to help guide me through my work and give extra help if there was anything I didn't understand.
We each had a councillor who gave very useful support and information throughout the whole internship, not just at the beginning.
On most days I had a good balance of work, although there were a few days where I was either very busy or fairly quiet.
I was given quite a lot of responsibility during my placement, directly doing work for clients which was then checked by the relevant person I was working for.
I feel that I have learnt vital skills for working in an office environment in the future, and time management skills which will help me in the last year of my degree.
The Company
Fairly quiet but a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The internship was extremely well organised. I was always well informed of all information and relevant events.
A lot of time was spent during the induction days training and preparing us for the following weeks. At the office, my colleagues went out of their way to fully explain things for me so that I had a good understanding of the work I was doing.

Company Parties/Events
I have a job offer which I have accepted - I look forward to joining next year.
The Culture
The induction events allowed plenty of time and opportunity to meet other people we would be working with. Within the office, we organised a couple of social events to meet up outside of working hours.
The office I was in is close to London, so living costs are generally quite high. Socialising costs are probably about average - what I would expect.
Busy town with quite a good nightlife.
As I was only there for 6 weeks there wasn't much opportunity to get involved, but in general there are many opportunities for activities outside of work.
