The Role
I really enjoyed the work experience.
My colleagues were very helpful. I was given
My manager played a very good role in giving me an overall experience of working in a bank. He pushed me to meet as many people as I can which I really enjoyed a lot.
During the first couple of weeks, I was less busy and had time to spare. However, as I started understanding the work, I got more responsibility and the last couple of weeks were very busy and fun.
My responsibility increased gradually with time and in the last project I was working on, I was responsible to get the complete job done.
I learnt many important skills on the job which will help me in my future as well.
The Company
It was alright.
I worked with two very different teams which helped me understand the nature of the work a lot.
Many training and networking sessions were set up for us which were very helpful.
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
I was offered a full time graduate position.
The Culture
I was friends with all of my colleagues and went out with them occasionally as well.
It was expensive but it was money well spent.
I worked in Canary Wharf which is not very famous for its nightlife. However, London's nightlife is a lot of fun.
Yes. Some opportunities were arranged my Citi. Other than that, I was always encouraged by my manager to participate in different activities.
