The company atmosphere was excellent and they went to great lengths to make interns very welcome
Metaswitch were very good at encouraging general skill development (communication, time-management etc) as well as developing more specialist skills in programming and telecommunications.
The Company
It was clear the employees were all valued and enjoyed their work.
There are company houses available to internship students and projects are allocated to try and fill the whole placement duration.

The Culture
There were up to 30 other interns working over the summer and Metaswitch often sponsored evening social events. Being in company houses with other interns helped a lot.
