The Role
Really well organised internship. Very insightful and enjoyable.
They all made a real effort to make me feel part of the team as quickly as possible. I always got invited out for lunch or for after work drinks with them.
You will get assigned a buddy and a counsellor. Both mine were brilliant and were always willing to answer my questions.
The work fluctuated depending on what was going on in the office, but there was always something to be getting on with
All the work that I completed was checked by someone else, but I was left to get on with my own work at times.
As I study accountancy it was really useful to see how to apply various things I have learnt at uni, it has also given me a head start in some of my final year modules.
The Company
Good atmosphere-everyone worked hard but it was more relaxed than I was expecting
Really well organised. I always knew what I had to do or knew who to ask if I didn't.
For only being in the office for 6 weeks I was really surprised at how willing my colleagues were to take time to explain their work to me.
Flexi Time
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
I got offered a job 2 weeks after my placement ended.
The Culture
I got on really well with the other interns and we would regularly try and meet up for dinner and have lunch together most days.
I met up with my department on a few occasions but socialised more with the other interns.
