The Role
The work was interesting and worthwhile as the project you work on is uesful and will not get forgotten about as soon as you leave. There is a nice working atmosphere - free biscuits in the kitchens and occasional morale trips out of work. There are often drinks in the local pubs on the company tab for people's birthdays, new starters, etc. There are also lots of other interns (about 30 in 2010).
The Company
I was given a plan of what I was going to be doing over the next two months on my first day of work, including a detailed brief on my project.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
The Culture
There are subsidised company houses (£6/£9 per night), but as I stayed at home I don't know the cost of food etc.
Don't know - I didn't live there.
Lots of sports and social clubs going on during lunch.
