The Role
This internship was one of the best experiences in my life. I had a chance to meet an amazing team and work along with market analysts in order to test a new system.
We worked side by side and I always had their support when needed.
There was not a question left without an answer. As I was new to the finance world my manager did her best to explain all the details and operations they were working on. I also was participating in the team meetings which helped me further understand the importance of communication and feedback witin such a large organisation.
There was always a lot of work to be done, especially with the pressure of the deadlines. But it didn't mean we didn't have breaks. The working environment was really friednly and supportive so even faced with a great amount of work we always kept calm and worked constructive and relaxed in order to finish on time.
I knew my work matters as I had a lot of responsabilities by looking at the reports, testing the system and giving support to many of the testers of the system in Europe. My opinion always was taken into consideration, that being a valuable motivation on a day by day basis
* Analysing data helped develop my study skills, as I can process more information now in a shorter amount of time * I enhanced my communication skills as having meetings with market analysts and EY team of developers on a daily basis increased my confidence to expose my ideas clearly and to analyse the feedback.
The Company
Very firendly and relaxed, great place to work!
From the first day at work my manager guided me through all the operations and goals for my internships. I received constructive feedback every 3 weeks. Also, the HR department was relaly open for any further questions.
I took couple of trainings on ethics as well as visited the design offices and other interesting stuff that were not directly related to my job.

The Culture
It was quite expensive as it was near London. But there was Stratford near that had a lot of events going on every weekend.
I didnt really go to clubs so cant relaly say.
I went to Yoga Classes which were part of the company extra activities. There were couple of pubs as well where we could go after work with other interns.
